2007 Year in Review........

The 2007 season started with a club tournament that saw all boats go to Kentucky Lake except for one.   You guessed it, the lone Lake Barkley boat popped three good keepers to give Eagleson and Johnson the victory........(full results)

You better had brought a big sack of fish if you were looking for a paycheck in this tournament.   With half of the field bringing more than 10 pounds to the scales, DeWayne West and John Curtis had the heaviest sack with 22.76 lbs......(full results)

The first-ever "Multi-Species" tournament had James and Mason Shelton bringing 15 of the 17 allowed fish to the scales.   The father and son duo had 10 panfish, 3 bass, and 2 catfish, including the Big Bass of 5.96 pounds....(full results)

The second OPEN tournament also proved to have solid limits brought to the scales.   Mike Taylor and Larry Noel finished first with a stringer weighing 17.14 pounds........(full results)

The Liberty Point Baptist Church team of Ted Martin and Pastor Monty Flanigan weighed the largest stringer of bass with three keepers weighing 12.18 pounds.   Ted also landed a monster 6.64 pound largemouth.......(full results)

The 5th Annual FOCAS Kids Fishing Derby kicked off at 8:00am with 16 children looking for good tug on the end of their line.   At 11:00, it was time to count, weigh, and release the fish before the cook-out.........(full results)

Throwing a twist into the normal tournament format, FOCAS held it's first "Weigh it in now or later?"   With the day divided into 4 paying segments, anglers were faced with some tough decisions..........(full results)

James Shelton and Geoff Baggett took home the victory with a 5 fish limit weighing 12.46 pounds.   The limit was anchored by a 4.36 pound largemouth to claim one of  The Sportsmen's Edge Big Bass Pots........(full results)

"Friday the 13th" proved to be a myth when it came to bad luck, other than the fishing.  The weather conditions were perfect, but the fishing action proved to very tough.  James and Mason Shelton seemed to have a pretty good night by coming in with a limit of fish weighing 12.10 lbs....(full results)

The first-ever OPEN night tournament proved high winds and rain, which made fishing conditions tough for many anglers.     Coming in a very health limit of largemouth bass was the team of Parvis Price and Allen Parish, visiting Mississippi.   They weighed in 19.92 pounds anchored by the heaviest fish of the tournament weighing 6.38 pounds........(full results)

Dale Fentress and his partner James Major, impressively hauled in a limit of 5 smallmouth topping the scales at 16.o pounds. In addition to claiming the top honors, Dale landed a nice 4.3 pound tiger-striped smallie to put himself atop the leader board for the Big Fish Contest........(full results)

For the second time this season, all of the boats in the tournament fished Kentucky Lake instead of Barkley with the exception of one boat.   For the second time this season, the lone Barkley boat won the tournament.   This time it was Bruce Higbee going against the flow......(full results)

Early Saturday, 12 anglers fired up the engines to a cool, windy morning, later giving ways to high blues skies.   Although the weather was quite pleasant, the fish were tough to come by.   With only two small keepers, the Crossroads Fellowship team James Shelton and Geoff Baggett topped the field with 4.5 pounds......(full results)

For the 4th time this season, Mason has proved to be good for his dad, James.   Although it appeared the luck was going to run out, their two fish were large enough to take the victory......(full results).
