The 2007 season started with a club tournament
that saw all boats go to Kentucky Lake except for one. You
guessed it, the lone Lake Barkley boat popped three good keepers to give

the field bringing more than 10 pounds to the scales, DeWayne West and John Curtis had the

tournament had James and Mason
Shelton bringing 15 of the 17 allowed

Baptist Church team of Ted Martin and Pastor Monty Flanigan weighed the

the 13th" proved to be a myth when it came to bad luck, other than the
fishing. The weather conditions were perfect, but the fishing action
proved to very tough.

The first-ever OPEN night tournament proved high winds and rain, which
made fishing conditions tough for many anglers.
Coming in a very health limit of largemouth bass was the team of Parvis
Price and Allen Parish, visiting Mississippi. They weighed in
19.92 pounds anchored by the heaviest fish of the tournament weighing 6.38

Dale Fentress and his partner James Major, impressively hauled in a limit of
5 smallmouth topping the scales at 16.o pounds. In addition to claiming the
top honors, Dale landed a nice 4.3 pound tiger-striped smallie to put

anglers fired up the engines to a cool, windy morning, later giving ways to
high blues skies. Although the weather was quite pleasant, the
fish were tough to come by.
With only two small keepers, the Crossroads Fellowship team James Shelton
